Hello, internet.
I'm Amanda Roberts, a product designer obsessed with the messy, fascinating ways humans interact with each other and technology. Right now I'm leading design at Queer Axis Health, where I get to solve real problems by creating digital spaces that connect LGBTQ+ folks with healthcare that actually gets them.
Before design, I spent 11 years in the art world as a curator and dealer. Working with artists on exhibitions and helping collectors find their perfect pieces taught me to read between the lines and uncover what people truly want, even when they can't articulate it themselves. That visual storytelling background, combined with translating unspoken needs into tangible solutions, became the foundation of my design approach.
When I'm not designing, I'm usually reading sci-fi, failing spectacularly at trivia, or exploring trails with my dog, Pickles, who has very strong opinions about which sticks are worth investigating.
